Jigna was born on 22nd February 1974, which was Friday, in the Ghatkopar, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She belongs to a typical Gujarati family of India. Her father’s name is not known, who works in Dubai. Her mother’s name is Harshaben Vora, who passed away in 2015 suffering from heart attack.

If we talk about her siblings, she has a younger sister. Her sister’s name is Lina, who is younger than her. She shares a beautiful bond with her sister.

Jigna is very active and quick learner child in her childhood. She has completed her schooling from Ghatkopar, Mumbai. She always the topper in her class. Then, she moves to DG Ruparel College, University of Mumbai. She completed her graduation bachelor’s degree in law.

Later, she also studied in Junior college for specific course. She takes the Diploma in Mass Communication from the KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Jigna is very smart and understanding girl in her life. Her’s first career path is court reporter. She had joined as a Court Reporter at the Free Press Journal in November 2005. She worked in this press for almost 10 months.

While talking to media, she shares that, her first assignment was to cover the case of underworld gangster Abu Salem’s case in TADA court. This court is located inside the Arthur Road Jail.

Then, she joined Mumbai Mirror as a Court reporter in 2006. She continuously worked in Crime reporting field for six years and gain recognition in the media. She made her name from intern reporter to Deputy chief of Bureau of English Broadsheet.

She covered her first underworld crime story in December 2005, when wife of gangster Chhota Rajan’s wife named as Sujata Nikalje gets arrested. She gets arrested for the extortion threats against the builder under the MCOCA.

She worked in many other companies like Mid-day as senior correspondent for the session court. In May 2008, she joined Asian Age which is the publication of Deccan Chronicle. In this publication, she worked as reporter, written stories of accused like Fahmeeda, Maria Susiraj, Jaya Chheda.

Later in 2011, she was working as a Deputy Chief of Bureau of Asian Age. She has worked really hard in her life to make it worth. In the same year, she got arrested on charges of involvement in J Dey’s murder.
