Huma Qureshi Birth

Huma Qureshi was born on 28th July 1986 (Monday) in New Delhi, India. She was born in a conservative Muslim family in India. Her father Saleem Qureshi is a well-known businessman and restaurateur. He had owned a chain of restaurants in Delhi with name Saleem’s Restaurant. Her mother Ameena Qureshi is a homemaker. She always supports Huma in her studies and helps in making decisions of life. She has two elder brothers Naeem Qureshi and Haseen Qureshi, businessman. Her younger brother Saqib Saleem Qureshi is also an actor in the industry.

Huma is smart and talented student from childhood. She has completed her schooling when she was in Kalkaji, South Delhi. Her school’s name is not known to the media. She had completed her bachelor’s in history Honours from Gargi College, which comes under Delhi University. After completing graduation, she joined an acting school for one year. In acting school, she worked under famous director N.K Sharma, who guided her throughout her journey. While talking to media, she disclosed that she believes that NK Sharma brings her good luck in acting and still she discusses with him before signing every contract.

Huma Started her acting career for her theater classes, where she performed in “Act1” theater group. When she first move to Mumbai in 2008 for acting, she was audition for movie “Junction” which never release. Then she signed two years bond with Hindustan Unilever to work in Television commercial ads.

Her first add shoot with Abhishek Bachchan, for a cell phone, in this add she played a role of reporter. Later, she got offers of adds with Shah Rukh Khan and Amir Khan. But in this struggling period, she didn’t get noticed by anyone. She came into light from her add with Amir Khan, produced by Anurag Kashyap. During shooting, Anurag promised her that he will cast her for his upcoming movie.

She has worked in Tv Serial “Upanishad Ganga” as wife of Nati Hussain, Pundalik. Her famous Malayalam movie is White released in 2016. She worked in Tamil film Kaala (2018), film receives great success all over the country.

Then Huma made her Bollywood debut from film “Gangs of Wasseypur Part-1“, she played a lead role. She was supposed to debut with Tamil film which got delayed to year 2012. After Success of her first film. She gets offers from many producers and directors. She worked in many other films like Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana (2012), Ek Thí Daayan (2013), D-Day (2014) and Jolly LLB2 (2017). She had also worked in Hollywood film Viceroy’s house (2017).

Huma Qureshi has also worked in many music video albums. She is famous for her great acting skills and behavior towards others. She always talks politely to her staff and behaves well in set. After this, she worked in a web series Leila, which was released in 2019.
