Later, she started working in many different film industries. She made her Malayalam debut from “Ithile Iniyum Varu” in 1986, which she played the role of Priya. She has made debut in Tamil, Telugu, Gujarat, Kannada films with movies such as Periya Idathu Pillai, Yamapasam, Jode Rahejo Raj, Indrajith respectively.

Once in her career, she has worked in Bhojpuri film “Sajanwa Bairi Bhaile Hamar” in the year 1987. She played the role of girl dancer in this film. This bhojpuri films become the most watched film in the bhojpuri industry.

Currently, she is the member of Parliament from Vadodara Constituency.
